MADRID, 1 May. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The parliamentary spokesman for Podemos in Congress, Pablo Echenique, has assured that his formation does not veto a future agreement with Sumar, the political project of the second vice president of the Government, Yolanda Díaz, in relation to the fact that on its lists it could be the former Secretary of Organization of the 'purple' and current leader of Más País, Iñigo Errejón.

"For our part there is no veto. In fact, I want to remind you that in the last regional elections, Pablo Iglesias proposed an agreement to Más Madrid and Más Madrid said no," he explained in an interview with RNE, where he indicated that for These upcoming elections on May 28, the 'purples' have once again proposed an agreement to the Errejón formation.

For Echenique, in addition, joint lists are a "perfectly possible" event and that, in fact, he hopes to happen, because, in his opinion, it is "an obligation" for left-wing voters when in Spain "electoral law is what it is." "I would like there to be a coalition government again after the general elections and I think that this depends on an agreement between Sumar and Podemos," he assured.

This does not imply, as indicated in his speech, that each formation has its "style". "That does not mean that we think the same or that we do politics in the same way. It is evident that there are different styles, that there are different strategies, that there are different ways of doing politics, but Podemos has always been able to agree with other forms of to do politics", he pointed out.

Even so, Echenique has recalled that Vice President Díaz "does not want to negotiate" with Podemos until the municipal and regional elections on May 28 have passed.
