The Argentine midfielder for Atlético de Madrid Rodrigo de Paul will not be available for this Saturday's derby against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium due to a muscle injury in his left thigh, as confirmed by the rojiblanco team on Wednesday.
The world champion ended up with discomfort after playing the match against Athletic Club last Saturday, in which he was replaced at game time by Pablo Barrios, and the medical tests he underwent have detected this injury that will prevent him from being against those of Carlo Ancelotti.
"The Argentine midfielder will begin to receive physiotherapy sessions, he will undergo readaptation training and his evolution is pending," the 'mattress' group pointed out on its website.
